Twenty of the most innovative and influential leaders in the Bitcoin, payments and financial services worlds will be among the featured speakers at the inaugural Bitcoin Finance Conference and Expo (Bitfin 2014). The event will be held in Dublin on July 3 and 4 at the Royal Dublin Society in partnership with East West Digital News.
Over two days, Bitcoin Finance 2014 will bring together international financial, technical, regulatory, political and economic experts from Circle, Stripe, Realex, Bitpay, Blockchain.info, and a host of other forward-thinkers to consider how digital currency will shape the future of payments, banking and finance.
Russia will be represented by Vladimir Grankin, president of Ocean Bank and digital money expert.
“There are still usability problems to be addressed, and international regulatory uncertainty, but the ecosystem is maturing rapidly. Bitcoin Finance will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of digital currencies,” said Fergal Murray, founder of Bitfin. “Attendees will leave with a unique understanding of the opportunities and risks that digital currency presents to payments networks, financial institutions, corporations, and regulatory authorities”
“Bitcoin’s protocol and mechanism for moving information — and money as information — is a breakthrough as significant as the development of the Web was to moving documents,” said Jeremy Allaire, one of the featured speakers.
The event and its related citywide social events are being produced by Bitcoin Ireland, WhitePeak and Triple Zero Media.
- Registration costs €599, but a limited 2 for 1 offer is available to EWDN readers with the discount code EWDN241. For more information on the conference, please visit http://bitfin.com.
